Tikidub Productions Ltd is an established Aotearoa-based music production company created by acclaimed musician, producer, audio engineer, composer and songwriter Tiki Taane. Located in Hamilton, Woodhill and Christchurch, Tikidub’s core business is the production, provision, performance and promotion of top quality music and music products for all peoples of the world.
Supported and driven by Tiki’s whanau (family), the driving force behind Tikidub lies with Tiki and his big sisters Maureen and Ninakaye. With both the girls being huge fans of their brother’s music since they can remember, they enjoy applying their energetic passion for his music to the cause.
NINAKAYE
Managing Director
The second eldest child, Ninakaye resides in Hamilton with her partner and 2 children and began management of Tiki and Tikidub in early 2007. Bringing a wealth of experience from her extensive background within the Hauora (Maori Public Health), Film & Television, Event Management and Fitness industries to the Tikidub table, Ninakaye holds Certificates in Tu Taua, Maori Leadership (AMO) and Small Business Management. Ninakaye acts as Trustee for the Tiki Taane Trust as well as the Wahanui Inuwai Taane Te Puna O Te Ora Whanau Trust and is a licensed ZUMBA© instructor.
MAUREEN
Merchandise Manager
The oldest of the siblings, Maurz was the Store Manager of the award-winning Christchurch Vault store for 17 years until the devastating earthquake of 22nd February 2011 destroyed the store. She has now opened a new design store with her business partner called HAPA, located within the innovative ReStart container city in the Christchurch CBD. She was a Board Member for the Christchurch Central City Business Association and an Executive Board Member for Tainui ki Otautahi Charitable Trust and Discovery 1 School. Having been involved in the design/exhibition retail field for a career that spans over two decades, Maurz brings her exclusive knowledge of marketing, branding and innovation to Tikidub Productions.
DIRTY DUB
Record Label
Tikidub Productions also works closely alongside others in order to make things happen, one of those being Aotearoa NZ record label Dirty Dub. Managed by Ingrid Round (also Artist Manager of Opensouls, PNC, Concord Dawn, 48 May, State of Mind and Bulletproof), Dirty Dub is Tiki’s collaboration with P Money and Callum August, both of Dirty Records. With the label established initially for the purpose of releasing Tiki’s debut LPs, Ingrid has been very busy ensuring that Tiki’s music reaches as many eyes and ears as possible via radio and TV promotion and airplay at times with the expert help of publicist Lisa Paris of The Label. Combined with the added expertise of Auckland based distributor Peter Baker and his company Rhythmethod, quite clearly, Tiki’s music is in some seriously capable hands!
AUSTRALIA
In terms of Australian releases, Tiki is signed to Shock for distribution and has worked alongside Beatbroker for publicity and Niche Productions for tour production.

At Tikidub, our vision is to create an holistically independent and healthy music business that can support other artists towards their own autonomy and positive wellbeing, thus transforming the world music industry as a whole. We see our music taking on a reputation as having a distinctively profound effect on people worldwide.
