DESIGN INFO “E tū!” is a command in our Māori language to take action. The word “tū” we translate to mean “stand”, however the action itself is open to interpretation. In your own context it can mean to take place, establish, remain, convene, raise, rise, stop, take position, engage, fight, oppose and many other words.
The Huia feather is a tohu rangatira, a symbol of leadership and thus encourages leadership against racism, prejudice and oppression of others by standing strong in positive philosophies, beliefs and values to help bring about prosperity for all peoples, especially those yet to come.
Designed with aroha (love and compassion) by Chaz Doherty, Rurehe Taylor and Ninakaye Taanetinorau.
